Archive: Up in the moor (original)
'Up in the Moor' was a comic strip experiment back in 2023. Here are all six strips together for the first time.

Back in 2023 I was working on a new cartoon strip called 'Up In The Moor', which may or may not be based on the village where I live.
I had no real plan for the strip other than to try out a new style and see where it took me. I had a lot of fun with the plots, which are very silly and remain open-ended.
I wanted to experiment with contrast, so the style is deliberately black and white (the absence of colour and toning), and also because I think it looked cool.
A lot of work went into each four-panel strip and I learned a lot. You may see elements of this style appear in future drawings.
